Google Search: You'd be amazed just how far a quick search for the right terms can take you. Examples of contract clauses, forms, policies, you name it. 

 

SEC Small Business Website: The SEC regulates the big players and publicly traded companies. They also deal with registering all securities (shares, membership in an LLC, etc.) sold unless the securities are subject to an exemption. They put together a very helpful overview that you can read from time to time as a refresher or as an initial foray into securities law.

Terms of Use & Privacy Policies of Unicorns & Publicly-Traded Companies: Billion-dollar companies have great law firms. No harm in reading up on what they're doing in their terms of use, privacy policies, etc. from time to time. There just might be some wisdom in what they've already put out to the public.
